The second person up to perform was a contortionist, I think. She did some really neat/crazy stuff. It is amazing what the human body can do.

She then got a bunch of glass things placed on her and she moved around in different positions while keeping everything balanced. It was very cool.

The 2nd performer was dressed up in a really cool costume and had a painted face. He did a show with a staff and also did some cool flips and stuff. I tried some different shooting techniques with him. This is my favorite shot of his set.

The 3rd (here you go Matt) was a unicyclist. She had a really tall unicycle and flipped bowls onto her head while riding around on her unicycle. She got to one, two and three bowls, but kept having trouble with the 4th. Either way, she was still cool.

I took another picture of the yellow guy because I thought he was cool.

We went deeper into the park and came upon another juggler. He kicked the crap out of the Scotsman, oh man he was cool. He did some way more advanced stuff and had several different types of things to juggle like I said, was really, really good.

The zoo was open, hurray! They had a panda statue at the entrance, which Erin wanted to pose with. Erin had to wait, though, because there was a really cute little kid was just hugging the pandas instead of posing with them. Little Japanese kids are great, hehe.

This zoo had, for one, some crazy animals that I had never seen or heard of before. It also had some crazy looking birds. This one, for example, looked like a Muppet (both Erin and I agreed).

This bird was just funny looking.

They also had polar bears!!! I had never seen a polar bear before, so I relished in the photo opportunities.

Oh, by the way. The animals in this zoo were super active, the most active I have seen in a zoo ever. They must have put crack in their food or something, maybe in their water. Speaking of crack, here is me being goofy while sitting on a bear statue.

We went back by the polar bears, I caught one shaking water off of itself and thought it made for a cool photo.

Baby monkey!

Strange looking monkeys, I thought the looked like old men for some reason.

And a lemur… he was just asking for his picture to be taken.

We took a ride on the Zoo monorail. It was really colorful, as you can see.

Flamingo!

Rhymnenoceros?

The Hip-hoppopotamus was there too!

View from the zoo.

After the Zoo we went to Shinjuku to see the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, which had a really high observation deck that is free. I think it was 45 floors up… I know it was at least 40. My ears popped on the way down the elevator, it was pretty crazy that we were up that high. Anyway, here is the view though it was through a window so kind of distorted.

The TMGB (what they called it) was really tall.

We found dinner in the mall attached to Shinjuku station, which is really huge by the way. You could easily get lost for hours in there. After dinner we went back to the hostel and relaxed for a bit, then went to bed.
