Mt. Fuji: Day 16

Today Erin and I did just as we planned. It was too foggy/rainy to see anything so we just slept in and hung out all day. We went to Mos Burger for lunch. I had a teriyaki burger which was mucho tasty.

After lunch it cleared up a little so we cashed in our free bike rentals and I rode around and took pictures.


This duck was super nice and posed for me. He was super still, though it took me a few tries to get a good sharp shot. I had to use a really low shutter speed because of the low light. I was amazed at how still he was for this shot though.




We just relaxed for the rest of the night. While relaxing we met a cool guy from England named Barry. He had been traveling for a while and was wishing he had more time in Japan. He, Erin, and I talked for a good three hours. It is supposed to be sunny tomorrow so hopefully we can catch a glimpse of the mountain before we leave for Kyoto.

Oh, one semi important thing! The very last chapter of Beck came in the monthly Gekkan Manga magazine today. I saw it in a convenience store and had to buy it. Here are some pictures.
On the front cover it says “Magnificent Finale!” I had to look that one up, though.
